Operator responsibility. This timer is a reminder only. The control operator stays responsible for identifying the station under 47 CFR 97.119. It runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
§ 97.119(a): each amateur station must transmit its call sign at the end of each communication, and at least every 10 minutes during a communication.

The countdown starts at 10:00. When it reaches zero it shows "ID due" and keeps counting how long it's overdue. Remember to also ID at the end of the contact.
